Mardi Gras Party Games
Organize a wild Mardi Gras party with our fun party supplies and ideas! Find below some ideas on Mardi Gras games to play at your party.
Who am I?
Pin a piece of paper on guests backs as they arrive to the party. The paper contains the name of a famous person. The person has to guess their name by asking questions to other guests such as "Am I still alive?", "Am I fictional?", etc. People can only give "Yes" or "No" answers. Congratulate those who guess who they are with Mardi Gras beads .
Pass the key
You need two large keys (both of the same size), each tied to the end of a coarse string (60 feet long or more). Line up two teams of about eight to ten members. The key must be passed down shirts, trousers, dresses and skirts and the string will show the route followed. The winning team is the first to get everyone "threaded".
We have also collected some Mardi Gras games to keep the youngest guests entertained. Organize for children the activities that we provide below.
Musical carnival caps
An adult takes charge of the music. Children form a circle. Caps are given to all but one of them. When the music starts the caps are passed from head to head. When the music stops, the one without a cap on is out of the game.
Each time the music stops a cap is discarded. The one who survives with a hat to the end is the winner. Congratulate the winner with our colorful Mardi Gras beads .
Beading
For older children, prepare a beading activity. Purchase beads in different colors, shapes and sizes and let them make their own creations. They can take them home or give them out to other guests.
Doubloon sorting
Provide the younger kids with doubloons (shiny coins from Mardi Gras) that they have to sort by color or design.
Add excitement to your Mardi Gras party with our pinatas. Have fun beating a jester pinata on Mardi Gras!
